The terms on which Ziyarat provides Umrah packages. Please read them before making a booking.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Ziyarat website or making a booking with us. By accessing our website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our services.
Ziyarat is a UK-based travel agency arranging Umrah packages, registered in England and Wales. We are ATOL protected and IATA accredited. Our contact details are set out at the end of these terms.
All bookings made through Ziyarat are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when we issue a written confirmation and the required deposit has been received. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
By making a booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete, that you are at least 18 years of age, and that you are authorised to make the booking on behalf of everyone included in the reservation.
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place. The deposit amount will be specified at the time of booking and confirmed in your booking confirmation.
The remaining balance must be paid in full by the due date stated in your booking confirmation. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking and the loss of your deposit.
All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are subject to availability at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change until full payment has been received.
All cancellations must be made to us in writing by email. The following cancellation charges apply to package bookings:
| Notice before departure | Cancellation charge |
|---|---|
| More than 90 days | Loss of deposit only |
| 60 to 90 days | 50% of the total package cost |
| 30 to 59 days | 75% of the total package cost |
| Less than 30 days | 100% of the total package cost (no refund) |
We strongly recommend that all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against cancellation costs.
If you wish to change a confirmed booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges from airlines, hotels or other service providers.
Ziyarat reserves the right to make changes to itineraries, hotels or services where necessary. In the event of significant changes, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible and offer alternatives where available.
If an airline cancels a booked flight for any reason beyond our control, we will help arrange an alternative flight where possible. Any fare difference, additional taxes or rebooking charges for the new flight are the responsibility of the client, except where the airline or applicable law provides otherwise. Ziyarat accepts no liability for additional costs resulting from airline cancellations or schedule changes beyond our control.
It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport and all necessary travel documents, including a Nusuk permit for Umrah where required, for the duration of your trip. Where a visa or permit application is included in your package, Ziyarat will assist with the process but cannot be held responsible for refusals or delays by the relevant authorities.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. Ziyarat accepts no liability for any costs arising from insufficient or invalid travel documents.
It is your responsibility to make sure you are medically fit to travel and to comply with any health requirements for entry into Saudi Arabia, including vaccination requirements. We recommend that you consult your GP before travel.
Any medical condition that may affect your travel must be disclosed to us at the time of booking, so that we can advise you and make suitable arrangements where possible.
Ziyarat acts as an agent for airlines, hotels and other service providers. Our liability to you is limited in accordance with applicable law and, where relevant, the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
We are not responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage or expense arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural events, war, civil unrest, government action or public health emergencies. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
We strongly recommend that all clients buy comprehensive travel insurance before departure, covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability and loss of baggage. Ziyarat accepts no responsibility for any loss or cost that would have been covered by adequate travel insurance.
If you have a complaint about any part of your trip, please raise it with our representative on the ground, or contact us directly, as soon as possible so that we can try to resolve it while you are still travelling. If the issue remains unresolved, please send us a written complaint by email within 28 days of your return.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Ziyarat may update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on this page. The terms that apply to your booking are those in force when your booking is confirmed.
If anything here is unclear, contact our team before you book and we’ll explain it.
